Mars Bar Easter Nests
Easy Mars Bar Easter Nests made with Rice Bubbles and milk chocolate. A simple no-bake Easter dessert perfect for parties and school celebrations.
Ingredients
- 300g Mars Bars, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons thickened cream
- 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 3 cups Rice Bubbles
- 150g milk chocolate, melted
- 144 mini speckled eggs (3 per nest)
Instructions
- Lightly grease two 24-hole mini muffin trays and set aside.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the chopped Mars Bars, thickened cream and cocoa powder. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and immediately add the Rice Bubbles. Stir gently until evenly coated.
- Using two teaspoons, spoon heaped teaspoons of the mixture into the mini muffin tray holes. Lightly press down and create a small indent in the centre to form a nest shape.
- Melt the milk chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth.
- Spoon approximately ½ teaspoon of melted chocolate into the centre of each nest. Top with three mini speckled eggs.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until firm.
- Remove from the fridge 5–10 minutes before serving. Carefully lift each nest out using a spoon.
- Store in the fridge until needed.

TOP TIPS:
Low Heat Only: Melt the Mars Bars gently over low heat to prevent burning and splitting.
Work Quickly: Once mixed, spoon the mixture into trays straight away before it firms up.
Easy Removal: Lightly greasing the trays ensures the nests pop out easily once chilled.
Make Ahead: These can be made 2–3 days in advance and stored in the fridge in an airtight container.
