Tender, sticky and packed with barbecue flavour, these BBQ pork ribs are the ultimate comfort food. With minimal prep and three easy cooking options - slow cooker, pressure cooker or oven-only - you can choose whichever method suits your day. Each one gives you beautifully tender ribs that finish in the oven with a thick, glossy, caramelised BBQ glaze.
Perfect for weekend family dinners, footy nights, entertaining or even Father’s Day, these ribs pair beautifully with smashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, potato skins or a crunchy coleslaw. Juicy, sticky and incredibly satisfying, they’re guaranteed to become a regular in your dinner rotation.

Slow Cooker Sticky Hickory Pork Ribs
Ingredients
- Pork Ribs (I used 2 kg for a family of 4)
- Sweet Baby Ray’s Hickory Barbecue Sauce
Instructions
- Cut the ribs in half and squeeze roughly 2 tablespoons of sauce over each piece. Use your hands to rub the sauce evenly over the meat.
- Layer the ribs into the slow cooker. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 200ºC and line two baking trays with aluminum foil and baking paper.
- Place two pieces of ribs on each tray, squeeze more sauce over the top, and rub it in.
- Put the ribs in the oven and cook for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce is nice and sticky.
- Serve with your favourite sides like smashed potatoes, potato skins, steamed vegetables, or coleslaw.
