Baked Apple Crumbles
There’s something so comforting about the classic combination of cinnamon and apples. That sweet, spiced aroma instantly makes your kitchen feel cosy. These Air Fryer Baked Apple Crumbles are my go-to dessert when I want something quick, easy and satisfying.
Instead of making a whole apple crumble, this recipe uses just one apple and a handful of pantry staples like oats, coconut, cinnamon, flour, butter and sugar. Simply cut the apple in half, top it with the buttery crumble mixture and pop it in the air fryer. In under 20 minutes, you’ll have perfectly soft, cinnamon-infused baked apples with a golden, crunchy crumble topping.
This recipe makes the perfect dessert for two, but you can easily double or triple the recipe for the whole family. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream, custard, or a dollop of creamy yoghurt for a lighter option.
Whether you’re looking for a quick midweek dessert, a light finish to a dinner party or even a sneaky breakfast treat. These mini air fryer apple crumbles are simple, fuss-free and guaranteed to warm your heart.

Notes
If you don’t wish to use crumble, other options for baked apples are:
🍏 Brush the tops with a combination of melted butter and cinnamon then bake.
🍎 Drizzle with honey or maple syrup with a sprinkle of cinnamon then bake.
🍏 You can easily make these gluten free and dairy free by swapping suitable substitutions such as quinoa flakes, coconut sugar, Nuttelex/coconut oil, gluten free flour.
🍎 I found ½ an apple was a suitable serving for 1 person.
🍏 I chose to use Granny Smith Apples, however you could use any apples you have at home. Perfect excuse to use up the apples from the fruit bowl.
🍎 You could even make this for a sneaky breakfast treat and serve with yoghurt.
