Air Fried Fish and Chips

When you cook salmon in an air fryer, it will be so moist and tender. The best part is, it is so quick and easy too. Your salmon will be ready in 10 minutes!

Ingredients

Air Fried Chips
  • Potatoes (as many as you like)
  • Sweet Potatoes (as many as you like)
  • 1 tablespoon Duck fat
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sprinkle Garlic salt (optional)
  • Sprinkle Onion salt (optional)
Air Fried Salmon
  • Salmon pieces (1 per person)
  • Salt
  • Oil (spray or liquid)

Instructions

Air Fried Chips
  1. Peel potatoes and slice into thick chips or wedges.
  2. Preheat the air fryer 200ºC for 3 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, add the potatoes, oil, salt, pepper, a sprinkle of garlic and onion salts (if using).
  4. Mix ingredients together with your hands until well coated.
  5. Place the potatoes into the air fryer basket and cook for 20 - 25 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  6. Remove potatoes from the air fryer basket and place on a plate. You can pop them in the oven to keep warm whilst you cook the salmon if you wish.
Air Fried Salmon
  1. Spritz the skin of the salmon with oil and sprinkle with salt. Gently rub in.
  2. Put the salmon in the air fryer skin side up. Cook 8-10 minutes 200ºC.
  3. Serve your salmon with potato chips/wedges and a lemon wedge. Season potato chips/wedges with salt and pepper if desired.

Notes

The salmon pieces I cooked were approximately 150g
