Ingredients
- 2 crumpets (square or round)
- 100g butter, melted
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: extra cinnamon sugar for sprinkling
- Dipping sauces: chocolate, caramel, or Nutella
Instructions
- In a bowl, stir together melted butter, caster sugar and cinnamon.
- Preheat your air fryer to 180ºC for 3 minutes.
- Cut each crumpet into 4 fingers (or smaller cubes if desired).
- Dip each piece into the cinnamon-butter mixture and place on a clean plate.
- Arrange the dipped crumpets in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 7-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Allow to cool for 1 minute, sprinkle with extra cinnamon sugar and serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC and line a baking tray with baking paper.
