Ingredients

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • ¼ cups mint leaves, roughly chopped
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients (except the oil) together into a bowl.
  2. Separate into even portions and form into sausage shapes.
  3. Preheat a frypan or barbecue over medium high heat and spray with oil.
  4. Cook the lamb koftas for 5-10 minutes turning occasionally until well cooked.
  5. Rest for 5 minutes before serving with Greek salad, pita breads and an assortment of dips.
