Gingerbread Slushie

Some Christmas flavours instantly feel festive… and gingerbread is definitely one of them.

After the huge love for my summer slushie recipes, I knew I had to create a festive version and this Gingerbread Slushie might just be my favourite yet. It tastes like a gingerbread martini meets a creamy Christmas dessert, with warm spices, caramel sweetness and a perfectly icy, smooth texture.

Whether you're hosting a Christmas party, planning holiday drinks with friends or simply relaxing by the tree, this festive slushie is a fun and delicious way to celebrate the season. Finished with whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a mini gingerbread man, it’s a Christmas drink that looks just as magical as it tastes.

The best part? It works beautifully as both a Christmas mocktail or cocktail. Enjoy it alcohol-free as a festive treat everyone can enjoy or add Baileys and vodka for a creamy gingerbread cocktail that’s perfect for holiday entertaining.

Notes

Top Tips:

  • Blend well: Blending or whisking the mixture ensures the spices and sauces are evenly distributed.
  • Use chilled ingredients: Chilling milk and cream helps the slushie freeze faster.
  • Adjust the spice: Add extra ginger or nutmeg if you love a stronger gingerbread flavour.
  • Make it kid-friendly: Skip the alcohol for a delicious Christmas mocktail.
  • Festive garnish: Whipped cream, cinnamon sugar and a mini gingerbread man make this drink extra special for Christmas entertaining.
