Notes

Top Tips:

  • Homemade or store-bought — both work! If you have time, bake your own cupcakes (chocolate, vanilla or red velvet all taste great). Otherwise, store-bought muffins are perfect for a quick shortcut.
  • Mix up the toppings. Swap critter lollies for candy eyeballs, gummy worms or Halloween rings for different spooky looks.
  • Get the kids involved. Let them decorate their own cupcakes - they’ll love creating their own creepy critter designs.
  • Keep it simple. All ingredients can be found at your local supermarket, so no need for fancy supplies.
  • Time-saving hack. Using pre-made muffins and frosting makes this a super speedy, no-fuss recipe.
  • Make mini versions. Use mini muffins for bite-sized cupcakes - perfect for toddlers or little party guests.
