Ingredients
- 1 packet 4x Turkish bread rolls (or crusty rolls)
- 1.5–2 pieces sizzle steak/sandwich steak per person
- oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2–4 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favourite)
- 4 eggs
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cup lettuce (any type)
- Tomato relish (or barbecue/tomato sauce)
- Aioli (or mayo)
- Butter, for toasting
Instructions
- Preheat a frypan over medium heat.
- Cut the Turkish bread in half, butter the cut sides, and toast butter-side down until golden.
- In the same pan, cook bacon and eggs until done to your liking. Set aside.
- Heat a grill plate or frypan over medium-high heat.
- Lightly spray steaks with oil, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1 minute per side (or until done to your preference).
- Remove from heat, cover, and let rest.
- Spread relish, barbecue sauce, or tomato sauce on the bottom half of the toasted bread.
