Pimm's Cocktail
Make the perfect Pimm’s Cocktail with fresh fruit, lemonade and ginger ale. Light, refreshing and ideal for summer entertaining, BBQs and festive celebrations.
Ingredients
- 30ml Pimm’s No.1
- Halved strawberries
- Cucumber slices, halved
- Orange wedges
- Torn mint leaves
- Lemonade
- Ginger ale
- Ice
- 180ml Pimm’s No.1
- Halved strawberries
- Cucumber slices
- Halved orange slices
- Torn mint leaves
- Lemonade
- Ginger ale
- Ice
Instructions
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Pour in 30ml of Pimm’s No.1.
- Add strawberries, cucumber slices, orange wedges and a few torn mint leaves.
- Fill the glass halfway with ginger ale, then top with lemonade.
- Give it a gentle stir. Add extra mint to garnish if you like.
- Fill a large jug with ice, strawberries, cucumber, orange and mint.
- Pour in the Pimm’s.
- Fill the jug ¾ full with equal parts lemonade and ginger ale.
- Stir gently, garnish with mint and serve.
Notes
TOP TIPS:
Chill everything: Cold lemonade, ginger ale and fruit make the drink extra refreshing.
Fruit load-up: The more fruit, the better the flavour. Don’t be shy!
Mint trick: Slap mint leaves between your palms before adding - it releases aroma.
Make-ahead: Prep the jug ingredients (without liquid) up to 2 hours ahead. Keep in the fridge.
Variations: Swap lemonade for soda water for a lighter version.
